Police have launched investigations after two middle-aged men were found dead and their bodies stuffed in a stolen vehicle in Nairobi’s Lucky Summer estate.

The vehicle belonging to Jeremiah Malaba Nasikungu was stolen from where it had been parked on the night of May 21st and he reported the theft at Lucky Summer Police Station the following day.

Malaba had gone to the station on Thursday to follow up on the initial report when he received a phone call from a friend who claimed to have spotted his vehicle abandoned near the Gathecha area.

“Nasikungu immediately rushed to the scene in the company of police officers and on arrival at the scene identified the vehicle to be his although the front and rear number plates had been removed,” reads a police report as quoted by Capital FM News.

After peeping through the car’s windows, police discovered the bodies of two men which are said to have been full of blisters.

Forensic experts attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) visited and processed the crime scene while the bodies of the deceased were moved to the City Mortuary pending identification and postmortem.
