Isaiah said, “God is longing to be good to people, who are looking for His goodness.” Are you looking for God’s goodness, are you expecting favor, believing to rise higher, to accomplish what He put in your heart. God meets you at the level of your expectations. If you expect nothing, you’re going to receive nothing. But when you’re thirsty, when you say, “God, I don’t see how, but I know You can do exceedingly, abundantly above all I can ask or think." You don’t have to figure out how it’s going to happen; all you have to do is believe. God satisfies not the doubting soul, the negative soul, the passive soul. He satisfies the thirsty soul with good things.praise the word of the living God
