On the issue of eating well it should actually be take a balanced diet this is to ensure that your body receives all the necessary nutrients for the normal body functioning e.g fighting diseases, growing and so on and so forth. If not balanced then should be somehow proportional or turn taking because an intake of some food is harmful e.g proteins causes skin swelling all over the body and lack of some food causes the known deficiency diseases examples are the marasmus, kwashiorkor and others. Nutrition is a chapter you don't wanna be left out in when having discussions because it's just one of a kind and it shows and entails alot.
