  1. Live in the moment. Don't let yesterday's failures control you. Instead, let today's success create the motivation and enthusiasm to work harder for tomorrow's win.

  3. Love the people that make you happy. You can't help but attract people who are similar to you, and that is fine. Just remember to maintain healthy boundaries.
  4. If something makes you sad, remember that it will pass. Your sadness will diminish. Give yourself time to feel whatever emotion comes up for you. Let yourself feel that sadness, and don't try to fix it.
  5. Never let someone else dictate your happiness. Choose to love yourself.
  6. It's okay to miss people. The people who were important to you will always be important to you.
  7. Always love and support yourself, even when you think no one else does.
  8. Be aware that life is often a bit too short to hold grudges and that forgiveness is a gift you give yourself every day.
  9. Your happiness is directly proportional to your gratitude. Appreciate each moment that you have with those you care about.
  10. Forgiveness is the greatest act of compassion. It is the ultimate form of self-love. Forgive yourself first. Then forgive others.
  11. Learn to trust that you are enough and the world is enough for you. If you are not receiving what you need from the world, then learn to give what you need to yourself.
  12. It’s important to understand that you cannot fix others. All you can do is fix yourself. You don’t have to do anything.
